Yam|a|see «YAM uh see», noun, plural -see or -sees.
a member of a Muskhogean tribe of American Indians formerly occupying the region of the lower Savannah River, the Georgia coast, and northern Florida. During the 1700's they merged with the Creek and Seminole Indians.
